There is no app to download and no account to create. You will not be asked to sign in, and you are not giving the church anything about yourself.
Your church shows a code
A QR code and a short code go up on the screen, usually just before the service starts.
Scan it, or type it
Point your camera at the QR code and tap the link. Or type the six-character code into the web address shown beneath it.
The words follow along
You land straight on the words. When the person at the front moves on, your phone moves with them — you do not have to do anything.
Codes are six characters and never contain the letter O, the letter I, the digit 0 or the digit 1 — they are left out because they are hard to tell apart from across a room. Capitals, spaces and dashes are ignored.
Yours to read, however you read.
Viewer is deliberately just the words — no backgrounds, no transitions, nothing to get between you and the line you are singing.
Read at your own pace
Look ahead at the next verse, or back at a line you missed. Nothing you do moves the screen at the front or anyone else’s phone — and ↩ Return to live brings you back.
Pass it on
Anyone already following can share the session with the person beside them — a QR code and the same short code. The church shares with a few people; it spreads through the room from there.

Make the words larger or smaller, and choose light, dark, or whatever your phone is already doing.
Built for a pocket
Viewer asks your phone to stay awake while you follow along, and uses very little data — only the words are sent, never video or backgrounds.
No account. No sign-in. Nothing to leave behind.
Joining a session gives the church nothing about you, no control over what anyone else sees, and no way to reach you afterwards. When the service ends, you close the tab — there is nothing to sign out of.

Broadcast from Projector Plus.
Viewer is the congregation's half. The other half lives in Projector Plus: while you present, you can put the same words on every phone in the room — an overflow space, a back row, a bright sanctuary, an outdoor service, or anyone who would rather read up close. Nothing is shared until you tap Start Broadcasting.
Broadcasting to congregant phones is a premium feature of Projector Plus and needs a subscription or an active trial. Joining as a congregant is always free, on any number of phones.

Viewer tells you what it is doing at the top of the screen. Every message it can show — and what to do about it, usually nothing — is written down.
