Update 2024.0.0
This first release of 2024 includes a few bug fixes - nothing else!
Fixed: When you have the Click/Tap Slide Behavior set to “shows immediately”, clicking/tapping on the Logo and Black buttons will also cause those screens to show immediately. Thanks for pointing our this feature oversight, Jørgen!
Fixed (iPad UI): Apple made some changes to the way that app layout changes are sent to apps in iPadOS 17, which could cause Projector Classic (iPad) to enter a “never ending refresh” state when switching away from Projector Classic to another app, then back to Projector Classic. Grateful to Walt for pointing out this bug!
Fixed (Mac): The “Plan Refresh” menu and toolbar button would not perform a “forced” refresh, which is how the Plan Refresh works in iOS and iPadOS. Mac is now working the same as the mobile siblings for plan refresh behavior.
And finally: Projector Classic is available in the visionOS App Store, just in case you are one of the folks who love all things Apple and have purchased the Apple Vision Pro headset. I have added a little blurb in the Projector Classic support articles detailing that Projector Classic running on Vision Pro can be used (practically speaking) only if you use it as a Sessions controlling device, since the Vision Pro cannot connect to an external screen in the same way that iOS and iPadOS can. True, the Vision Pro can “share the view” to an AirPlay screen, but that shows the entire screen view, not the “external screen” view that Projector Classic would like to display. Caveat: I don’t have an Apple Vision Pro (yet :) - so this is my “best guess” as to how Projector Classic would likely work on that device.
